Today we had visit in Barclays Company from United Way of Chennai & Swadhar IWDC. The visit very interesting. We got a chance to learn fexplore new things. There we get chance to present ourselves in front of others by giving vote 4 talking to experienced people there. of thanks The peoples with whom the we had conversation in sessions were awesome, they shared their experience & guide us very friendly way. in Overall, the experience was fabulous. Thank You.

Thank you so much swadhar for giving us this big opportunity to visit Barclays company and for the guideance. This visit and session during the visit helped me and other girls to develop confidence and communicaton skills. Through the interaction with Barclay's employees, I understand my strengths, weaknesses and improvement areas. This visit was mind blowing and a wonderful memory for me. This exposure visit definitely will be helpful for my future carer and life.

I have been associated with Swadhar Pune for many years as a well wisher & supporter. I have seen the Swadhar program ensuring that all funds are deployed towards education, food & support to distressed children & women while eliminating any inefficiencies. I met the management team which is a dedicated lots of individuals committed to the mission, visited the various sites and personally saw a wonderful job they are doing. I am very impressed with the tremendous job & their dedication in public service. I feel it is a brilliant efforts & everyone should help & support SWADHAR.

I have been giving donation to ‘Akshaedeep’ project under “Swadhar’ for the last 5-6 years. The organisation is doing commendable work in providing health and education facilities to the poor, needy and destitute children from slum areas of Pune city. Core strength of this scheme is the team of teachers; trained, guided and motivated by the dedicated and selfless office bearers, to put in best efforts in their assignment. Sustained monitoring of the activities and taking corrective measures where ever necessary, improved performance of the team to fulfill the goals. Penchant for transparency in all activities of the organization needs appreciation especially because financing for all the schemes is by way of donations from well wishers and funds received under 'Corporate Social Responsibility' scheme.

I had given donation to ‘Akshaedeep’ project under ‘Swadhar’ about 5-6 years before. Schemes undertaken by the organisation, primarily to assist children from weaker section of the society in improving their education standards, were seen to be very well planned and meticulously implemented through teachers trained and guided by the office bearers. My working schedule precludes me from doing social service myself. However, I am fully satisfied that through such schemes undertaken by the Akshardeep, I could fulfill some of my social responsibilities through my humble donation. Since then, for the last 5-6 years, I have continued to donate and contribute to the cause that the Swadhar represents.

शाळाबाह्य असणारी मुलगी आज शिक्षिका होऊन इतर मुलांना करत आहे साक्षर...
अकीला तांबोळी ही २००४ मध्ये शिवरायनगर वस्तीत शाळाबाह्य दिसून आली. तिला सेतू वर्गाला येण्यास प्रोत्साहित केले आणि शाळेत दाखल केले. स्वाधारच्या मदतीने तिने B.SC पर्यंतचे शिक्षण पूर्ण केले आहे आणि आता ती एका शाळेत शिक्षिका म्हणून काम करत आहे . याशिवाय तिच्या चित्रकलेच्या छंदाला प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी तिला पेंटीगचा कोर्स करण्यासाठी मदत केली . ती आता उत्तम स्केचेस सुद्धा काढत आहे . याचे सर्व श्रेय ती स्वाधारला देते. तिला योग्य वेळी योग्य मार्गदर्शन व शिक्षणाची संधी मिळाल्यामुळे आज ती एक उत्तम शिक्षिका म्हणून काम करत आहे.

स्वाधारच्या मदतीमुळे झाले स्वप्न साकार....
विकी प्रजापती हा अक्षरदीप इ लर्निंग प्रकल्पाचा अतिशय हुशार विद्यार्थी. घरच्या आर्थिक परिस्थितीमुळे त्याला इंजिनिअर होण्याचे स्वप्न पूर्ण करू शकेल का ? अशी चिंता भेडसावत होती. पण स्वधारच्या मदतीमुळे आज तो त्याचे सिविल इंजिनिअर होण्याचे स्वप्न पूर्ण करू शकला . आज तो यशस्वीपणे एका कंपनीत नोकरी करून त्याच्या भावंडाच्या शिक्षणासाठी हातभार लावत आहे.

सर्व शिक्षा अभियान तर्फे सुरु असलेल्या सर्व सेतू वर्गांतील मुलांचे गॅदरिंग 2003_ 2004 मध्ये आयोजित केले होते. या मध्ये विविध संस्थेतील मुलानी सहभाग घेतला होता. त्यामध्ये पाण्याचे आत्मवृत्त हे नाटक सादर केले. त्याला शिक्षण विभागाकडून प्रथम क्रमांकाचे पारितोषिक मिळाले.

In 1998, Swadhar initiated Project Akshardeep, aligning primarily with SDG 4 - Quality Education and SDG 1 - No Poverty. Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty through education. On 17th December 2023, we received the Maharashtra CSR Award 2023 for "Project Akshardeep- Empowering Nomadic Communities through Education, Inclusion, and Development."
