She approached House of Smile project of Swadhar IDWC with the hope of help and guidance. Through Family Guidance Program, she received help regarding procurement of all relevant documents. With this support, she could apply for all Government schemes that she and her family were eligible for. She joined
Vocational Training Center of House of Smile where she learnt to ride a two-wheeler. She is currently engaged in providing a home-based service of packing sweets in boxes.
Now that she can ride a two- wheeler, she can easily deliver packed sweets to the shops. Her sessions with trained counselors of House of Smile, Swadhar IDWC have helped her gain confidence, manage her finances, made her aware of relevant government schemes and how to avail those. As a result, she is leading a happier
life with better financial management, improved awareness about the world around her. She also has started helping other women in the community in any which way she can. As a result of her association with House of Smile, her own family members have a smile on their faces and, what’s more, she’s even spreading the happiness around!
